Cindy Henry’s purpose is to make a difference in the lives of business owners and employees, consulting with organizations to create a positive work experience. She created Integrated Resource Network (IRN) in January 2003 after years as Director of HR for an organization with 2800 employees on five campuses, as an internal HR consultant serving up to 250 corporate locations, and years leading the corporate HR consulting practice. Her purpose for IRN was to develop and guide her clients’ HR functions unencumbered by traditional thinking and outdated personnel practices. Her contemporary perspectives bring to her clients the best HR advice for their unique situations.

Cindy’s view of HR was substantially impacted by a six-month Quality Improvement fellowship and her creation and leadership of a task force for the integration of QI and HR. From that day forward her approach to a number of HR functions changed. She enjoys the balance necessary between management responsibilities and employee relations; fiscal responsibility and creation of a work place that retains great people.

Many businesses rely on the commitment and contribution of their people, and business owners who create an environment where employees can be successful will manage their businesses with more pride and fulfillment. When asked of what he was most proud, a business owner did not talk with Cindy about profits, expansion, or new services and products. He was most proud of providing a livelihood for individuals and families who depended on him.
